Morvern Care Centre provides various care services for the elderly. Our homes offer care packages that evolve with your individual care needs i.e. if your care needs change from residential to dementia over a period of time you do not require to move onto another home as we can cater to changes in your care requirements as and when needed. We provide dementia and residential care allowing couples with varying care needs to stay together. Our highly skilled and dedicated staff are supported continually through guidance, supervision and training to help maintain high quality 24-hour care.
Types of care and stay provided at the Morvern Care Centre
Residential Care is suitable for older people who would like peace of mind knowing that 24-hour assistance is at hand from qualified care staff should they require. Residential care includes accommodation in a safe and homely environment, nutritionally balanced meals, laundry, assistance with personal care and a wide choice of social activities for enjoyment.
Higher Residential Care
Higher Residential Care is for older people who require extra assistance with daily care needs i.e. personal care but do not necessarily require 24-hour nursing intervention. Higher Residential Care includes all the benefits of residential care along with accommodation, meals, laundry, personal and social care.
Dementia Care is provided with a person centred approach. Our dementia friendly designs provide a comforting environment. Therapies such as reminiscence encourage residents to focus on happy memories. Along with residents and staff, support is also provided to relatives and carers in understanding / coping with a loved one with dementia. Providing a caring, pleasing and fulfilling environment for a person with dementia can be both challenging and rewarding. It also requires energy and patience coupled with the forming of a supportive partnership between professional and family carers and the person with dementia.
We strive to create the best context to support people with dementia to thrive socially and emotionally beyond the diagnosis
